Hayes, House Representative, to B. Grant Taylor at the Clerk's Office of the state Supreme Court, expressing support; several handbills printed by California Equal Suffrage Association, in San Francisco; a typed statement on letterhead of B. Grant Taylor in San Jose, in favor; a typed statement against the amendment; a clipping; and a piece of ephemera. Includes an unidentified note dated July 1880.
